Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho

The traditional system used to apply this universal life force energy. 
 
Anyone can learn Reiki. It is primarily a spiritual practice, and secondly, a healing modality that can enhance any other spiritual, religious, or healing practices. Whether you want to learn Reiki for personal healing, assist others in their healing processes, start a daily spiritual practice, or enhance an existing healing or spiritual practice, the benefits are many.

Reiki: 
  • Treats the cause, not the symptoms
  • Does not conflict with religious beliefs 
  • Assists in resolving spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical imbalances
  • Is a complementary healing system that can enhance other healing methods

About Jesse
Jesse is a traditionally trained Reiki Master/Teacher in the original lineage based system of Reiki called Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho. He started practicing Reiki in 2004 after receiving one Reiki session from his (now) Reiki teacher Robert Fueston and his wife Heather that profoundly changed his life. He became a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2015 after several years of apprenticeship. Reiki for me goes way beyond just a healing practice to help others to heal, it is the foundation for my life, my spiritual practice, and my healing practice. After practicing for over fourteen years, I still feel that there is so much more for Reiki to teach me. In addition to Reiki, I practice Massage and Bodywork, and CranioSacral Therapy.

His lineage can be traced back to Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.  If you are looking to learn the simple art of traditional Reiki as a spiritual self practice or to start a healing practice to benefit others the traditional system of Reiki is absolutely the best place to begin or enhance your journey in the healing arts.
Reiki Classes and Sessions
 
You are initiated into a practice, you are initiated into a lineage.
Your choice in your Reiki teacher is very important and can mean the difference between a truly enjoyable lifelong practice and a meaningless weekend class.

There are three basic levels (or degrees) in traditional Reiki.
​
​
First degree (Shoden)
​
Shoden is the foundation for the whole Reiki system where you will learn the techniques for the spiritual practice of Reiki that leads to the healing of yourself and others. This includes the hands on practice for treating yourself and others, the Reiki precepts, Reiki history, and additional Reiki techniques for specific illnesses. 
 
Whether you are looking to start a career in the healing arts, want to enhance your existing healing or medical practice, are looking for a deeper connection to the source in your spiritual or religious practice, or for your own self healing and spiritual growth. This is where you want to start. There are no prerequisites for this class.
 
You will learn:
  • The History of Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho
  • The Reiki precepts (the art of inviting happiness and the miraculous medicine of all diseases)
  • How to do a traditional Reiki session for yourself and others
  • The traditional hand positions for treating specific conditions
  • How to treat your pets, plants, food, water, or any object.
 
You will receive:
  • A certificate stating that you are a certified practitioner of Shoden 
  • 12 CEU's
  • An enhanced and permanent connection with Cosmic Life Force Energy (Reiki) through a series of four initiations/energy activations
  • Twelve hours of hands on experience with an experienced Reiki Master/Teacher
  • Traditional energy exercises to strengthen the energy and flow of Reiki in your own body

Second Degree (Okuden)
​
Okuden means transmission of the inner teachings and is for those who want to take their practice to the next level where you will learn the more esoteric side of Reiki.
​
You will learn:
  • The Reiki symbols and their functions 
  • How to make a direct connection to the subconscious mind in order to treat mental/emotional issues such as addictions, bad habits, depression, anxiety.
  • How to enhance positive aspects of the self such as a deeper sense of joy, more patience, increased focus, etc. 
  • How to reinforce and strengthen good habits, spiritual practices or discipline.
  • How to strengthen your connection to Reiki in order to apply an amplified and concentrated flow of Reiki to specific areas
  • How to send Reiki remotely to people, animals, and situations
 
You will receive:
  • A certificate stating that you are a certified practitioner of  Okuden
  • 12 CEU's 
  • One more initiation to strengthen your connection to Reiki and to connect you to the Reiki symbols

Third Degree (3 Levels)
​
Reiki Master - learning to teach. 
​
  1. Shihan-kaku (assistant teacher) where one learns how to train and initiate first-degree students
  2. Shihan (teacher) where one learns how to teach and initiate second-degree students
  3. Dai Shihan (head teacher) where one learns to train and initiate new Reiki Master
 
 
1st and 2nd degree Classes are held in three to four consecutive days for three to four hours each day.
1st degree certification is $350
2nd degree certification is $450
 
3rd degree is an apprenticeship that comes when the student is ready
